LORAIN COUNTY, OH - The local former attorney accused of hypnotizing his clients has been arrested and charged with crimes in connection with those allegations.

Michael Fine was arrested Friday by Lorain County sheriff's officers. He has been  charged with 27 counts including kidnapping,  sexual battery, gross sexual imposition and illegal use of a minor in nudity.

The case started back in September of last year, when a female client of Michael W. Fine went to the Sheffield Village Police Department and told investigators that her  Fine had allegedly hypnotized her in order to perform sexual acts during meetings at his office to discuss a custody dispute. She eventually wore a hidden camera and microphone that the bar association says confirmed that Fine was using hypnotic techniques.  A second woman came forward later with similar charges against the attorney.
