Highland Hills officer accused of selling steroids, pain medications

MOGADORE, Ohio- A former part-time Highland Hills police officer is facing multiple drug-related charges after investigators searched his Mogadore home.

The Summit County Drug Unit was tipped off to drug trafficking by a police officer in the county and started investigating Anthony W. Borway, 34.

Agents executed a search warrant on Highland Road in Mogadore on Aug. 12. According to the sheriff’s office, agents found 18 vials of anabolic steroids, hundreds of anabolic steroid pills, syringes, and pain medications like Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Opana, Methadone, Xanax and Adderall.

Borway was charged with possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs, aggravated drug trafficking, aggravated drug possession, possession of drugs and possessing drug instruments. Officers also arrested Jentle S. Love on similar charges.

Both were taken to the Summit County Jail.
