Helping local veterans: the 2016 Fox Trot is just days away

CLEVELAND - The 2016 FOX 8 FOX Trot is this Sunday, Aug. 28.  You still have time to register. Proceeds will benefit the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland. The funds will be used to support critical programs at the hospital.

The 4th annual FOX Trot, presented by your Northern Ohio Honda dealers, is at the new location on Mall C, across from the Convention Center on West Lakeside Ave.


  • Registration on race day begins at 7 a.m.
  • 1-mile walk  kicks off at 8 a.m.
  • 5K-run starts at 9 a.m.

There will be plenty of fun and LIVE music from Todd Meany’s band, “Ace Molar.”

Standard registration gets you into the 5K run or 1-mile walk and and a free shirt.  For premium registration, you’ll also receive a free American flag, made in Ohio, and a raffle entry to win one of several flags flown overseas.

If you’re signed up, you can start picking up your shirt and bib number this week.

On Wednesday afternoon, we will be at Edgewater Beach.

On Thursday and Friday, we will be at the Fleet Feet stores in Westlake and Pepper Pike.

You can also register for the FOX Trot at all of those locations.
