Heinen’s Coming to Downtown Cleveland

CLEVELAND —  A new grocery store will soon be right downtown.

Geis Companies says a new 33,000 square foot Heinen’s Fine Foods full-service supermarket will be built at E. 9th Street and Euclid Avenue.

The new facility will utilize the first 2 floors of the Ameritrust rotunda and the first floor of the Swetland building on Euclid Avenue.

Officials say there will be no special parking deck for the grocery store, but valet parking will be available. A new parking garage being built on Prosepct Avenue can be used by patrons.

Customers can also order groceries online and pick them up at the store.

The new Heinen’s is expected to open in the fall of 2014.
