EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio-- With temperatures around freezing and flurries flying, residents of an East Cleveland apartment building are thankful to have heat.

On Monday, FOX 8 News reported the Forest Hill Park Apartments on Superior Road had been without heat since Thursday.

Margita Simmons, a mother of four young children, was using space heaters and boiling pots of water to keep warm.

"It's very, very, very inconvenient," Simmons said. "I'm not saying we deserve everything we want when we want it, but I think we deserve what we're supposed to get, especially paying our rent."

The property manager said contractors were working to repair the heat.

After our story aired, residents called to say heat was restored to the building Tuesday morning.
