The race is Komen Northeast Ohio’s largest fundraiser and includes a 5K run and walk, a Survivor Ceremony, a Kids Dash and an Awards Ceremony. Money raised goes to pay for local breast health education, screenings, treatment and support programs. Nearly 5,000 people were expected to participate.
Fox 8 was on hand for the race and we got some great pictures of folks gearing up to take part.
