CLEVELAND  -- A Cleveland hair dresser is making sure every girl can have the prom of her dreams.

"I know there's a lot of girls in Cleveland that can't afford dresses and I knew I wanted to give back in some sort of way," said Cleveland hair dresser, Chaz Jastes.

So Chaz, also known as The Hair Groupie, started asking clients for prom dress donations.

Before she knew it, she had over a hundred dresses and decided to organize a give back event.

"This is going to feel like walking into a store where the dresses cost hundreds of dollars and you are walking out with it for free," said Jastes.

The only requirement?  Be in high school and be in need.

The event is Tuesday May 7 at the Fifth Street Arcade on Euclid Avenue in Cleveland from 5:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. Students can pick out their dresses, then make appointments to have their hair, makeup, and nails done for the big night.

"These girls can get free hair services, free nail services, makeup services.  It's just really going to be a really big pep rally  and it will be fun," said Jastes.

"This is a dream come true. It is hard to not be able to afford what you want because I've always worked, it's really hard.  And to ask others for help is really hard," said Anntoinnette Parker, a single mother.

Her daughter, Briana, is a senior and will attend her very first prom next Saturday.

"Briana will be able to go to prom and enjoy herself like everyone else will.  And I'm very appreciative for all the help that we are able to get," said Parker.

If you would like to donate a prom dress, you can drop it off through Tuesday May 7 at Dylan's Barber Shop on West 9th Street in Cleveland.
