BAY VILLAGE, Ohio- There's something hostile in the hallways of the Knickerbocker Apartments in Bay Village.

"There's three main bullies.   The Bad Boys, they're called," said Debbie Spinks, a senior citizen who lives there.

"I thought I was moving in with adults, but instead I feel like they are acting more like high school students," added Nancy Boyer.

The Knickerbocker is a retirement home for senior citizens 62 and over.

Boyer said the three bullies have stolen her door decorations at least 10 times.

"They're seniors and they are treating all these people like crap, putting it mildly," said Beth Merrell, who also lives there.

Tom Kovach said he's been a direct target.

"It's because I go dancing with some of the ladies.  Next thing I know, in front of the ladies, the guys say I'm gonna kick sand in your face, I'm gonna kick your *bleep*," said Kovach.

"They are acting like eighth-graders.  They want to be bullies and rule the place," added Merrell.

"They say things like, 'no, you can't sit here, you smell,'  It's insulting things that would shame people and make them walk away," said Spinks.

Residents said the bullies are menacing.

"One of them came by the mailbox and I'm getting my mail and he comes up to me and starts poking me, and that's when I called the police.  Because I can't have anyone's hands on me," said Kovach.

Bay Village police confirm they've responded to three harassment calls at the Knickerbocker Retirement Home three times over the past two months.

They said the incidents are under investigation.

"I feel like I'm stuck in school. Not at this age.  I don't want to go through this," said Spinks.

FOX 8 spoke with Curt Brosky, President of the Knickerbocker's Management Company.

Brosky said he can not comment on the situation because of tenant, management confidentiality.

However, they are aware of the situation and take things like this very seriously.
