KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The long-awaited launch of Google Fiber in the Greater Kansas City area will come to an end Thursday morning. Google is expected to make it official in an announcement at 11 a.m. They are expected to detail plans to bundle services similar to cable companies.
Google Fiber boasts it will make Internet speeds up to 100 times faster. While Google won’t confirm details, the company has reportedly secured licenses to sell television services in Kansas and Missouri.
