The mother of LeBron James agreed to a plea deal on Monday that has the state of Florida dropping battery charges against her.

According to WSVN, Gloria James accepted a court diversion program and pleaded guilty to a single count of disorderly intoxication on Monday in exchange for a battery charge being dropped.

James was not in court and the plea was made by her attorney.

The charge stemmed from a June 2011 incident where she slapped a valet at the posh Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami.

WSVN reports that James’ charge will be dropped once she completes a court program. She has been ordered to perform 20 hours of community service and donate $1,000 to the Haitian Earthquake Relief Fund.

WSVN says that James still has a civil case pending stemming from the incident.
