FOX 8’s Autumn Ziemba shares a cheesecake recipe that has been handed down for generations in her family.
The dessert is a perfect addition to any holiday gathering.
Autumn’s Cheesecake Recipe
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. sugar
Mix together and line bottom of 9″x13″ glass pan.
PART TWO:
3 sticks softened cream cheese
1 cup sugar
5 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Mix ingredients on lower speed until relatively smooth. (Don’t over mix.) Pour over crust and bake at 300 degrees for 50 minutes.
PART THREE:
24 oz. sour cream
5 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Mix ingredients. Once cake has cooled for 10 minutes, pour over top and bake an additional 10 minutes.
Refrigerate cake for several hours before serving. Top with fresh berries, chocolate sauce or whatever you wish! Enjoy!
