DALLAS, Texas — A disturbing story out of Texas where four members of a Dallas family are accused of beating a 14-year-old girl to induce an abortion.

According to The Dallas Morning News, the teen was eight-months pregnant when she delivered a stillborn baby. Police say the family tried to cover up the crime by burning the baby on a grill.

The newspaper reported that Cedric Jones, 27; Sharon Jones, 45; Cecila McDonald; and Lonnell McDonald, 27, were arrested Tuesday on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity.

The relationship between the suspects and the victims was unknown.

According to The Dallas Morning News, the girl told police she was a virgin before she was raped and impregnated. She also told police she didn’t tell anyone about the sexual assault because she was embarassed.

The alleged attack occurred back in 2013 and lasted about an hour, police said. The girl said the baby was stillborn about two hours later.
