GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH -  Garfield Heights police have confirmed to Fox 8 that they have a warrant out for the arrest of former Glenville football player Latwan Anderson in connection with a violent robbery at a gas station in January.

The video above shows the robbery: police say the suspect tackled the Shell Gas Station clerk before pointing a gun at his head and demanding he open the station's safe.  During the robbery, a customer walked into the store.  The suspect ordered her not to move, and to place her cell phone and wallet on the counter. When the clerk, couldn’t get the safe open, the suspect threatened him and fled the store.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for him in this robbery.

East Cleveland police arrested  Anderson for robbing a Family Dollar on Euclid and Strathmore just after noon on Friday.

Charges in both cases are pending.
