LECANTO, Florida –  A woman in Lecanto, Florida was arrested after she was caught riding around a Walmart on a motorized scooter while drinking wine and eating.

According to a report from the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, 20-year-old Josseleen Lopez was eating sushi, cinnamon rolls, and most of a rotisserie chicken while driving the scooter around the store.

The store’s loss prevention officer told police that he saw a half-empty wine bottle in the scooter, so he continued to observe Lopez. He says he witnessed her pick up sushi, taste it and put it back on the shelf. She did the same with mini muffins and cinnamon rolls.

He said he contacted police after she consumed a large portion of the rotisserie chicken.

Once Lopez was arrested, police found several empty syringes in her possession. Lopez later admitted to officers she had used the needles for meth.

When asked about what she did inside the Walmart store, she told police she wanted to consume as many things as she could and did not want to take anything outside of the store. She admitted that it was wrong, but did it anyway.

She was charged with one count of retail petty theft and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
