PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida – Thousands of poisonous toads have invaded a Florida community.

People who live in Palm Beach Gardens told WPTV the outbreak started about a week ago.

The poisonous bufo toads secrete a toxin that can be fatal to your pets.

Experts in Florida say the outbreak was likely due to recent rains.
