First suspect in Warrensville Heights hotel murder arrested, police continue to search for second

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS – Police have arrested one suspect in a murder that occurred in Warrensville Heights on July 17, they are continuing to search for the second suspect.

Elizabeth Marie O’Brien was shot and killed at the Econo Lodge on Northfield Road in Warrensville Heights.

18-year-old Octavius Hudson of Cleveland was arrested at his home on Wednesday without incident.

The second identified suspect, 19-year-old Marcellus Lawrence Webster, also known as “Ali”, is still at large.

“We would like to thank the public and the media for the their assistance in helping us apprehend our first suspect,” said Chief of Police Wesley Haynes. “We are still asking for the public’s cooperation to locate the second male involved in last week’s shooting.”

Webster is described as 5’11, approximately 185lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.
