CLEVELAND– The top Republican presidential candidates will be in Cleveland next month for their first debate and Fox 8 News is helping you get tickets.

The ticket application process for members of the public will be done through email.

If you want to apply for tickets, you can email the Ohio Republican Party at Debate@OhioGOP.org with the following information:

• First name and last name
• Number of tickets requested (4 max)
• Email address

Individuals will be allowed to apply for up to four tickets per email address. The application will be open until 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, July 31.

Unfortunately, not every request for tickets will be honored due to the high demand.

If you’ve been selected, you’ll be notified via email by Sunday, August 2 along with instructions on where to claim the tickets.

The GOP debate will take place on Aug. 6 at 9 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena. The top 10 GOP candidates, based on an average from five recent national polls, will be eligible to participate.

It will air on the Fox News Channel, with moderators Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace.

Ohio Republican Party spokesman Rick Gorka said seating inside Quicken Loans Arena will be very limited, with portions of the arena sectioned off. He said it may be more difficult to get a ticket to the debate than a ticket to the NBA Finals. Those selected for tickets will be chosen at random, he said.
