DroneFOX video: Fire out at Walnut Creek Amish Flea Market, cause under investigation

SUGARCREEK, Ohio – The Holmes County sheriff tells FOX 8 News its fire department and multiple others were called to the scene of a large fire at the Walnut Creek Amish Flea Market. The fire broke out around 4 a.m. at 1900 SR-39. Dr. Kevin Miller, the Sugarcreek Fire Chief tells FOX 8 the roof collapsed before firefighters arrived on scene. Fire crews had the fire knocked out just before 7 a.m. It took crews from four counties to get the fire under control.
No one was hurt. The Sugarcreek Fire Chief tells FOX 8 the biggest obstacle was getting water to the scene because there are no hydrants in the area. The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire. FOX 8 crews at the scene say there is heavy damage. Dr. Kevin Miller says he estimates about 50% of the building is a total loss. FOX 8 will update you with more as this story develops.
