NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — Just hours after the Buckeyes’ huge win, OSU fans were in line to buy championship gear.

Fox 8’s Stacey Frey stopped by Dick’s Sporting Goods in North Olmsted, where the store opened early — at 6 a.m.

The store already had an assortment of gear including locker room T-shirts, hats and other items — and several customers were in line, ready to shop right when the doors opened.

The Buckeyes of course beat the Oregon Ducks 42-20 Monday night in the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship. It was the first national title in college football’s playoff era.
