TEXAS – Family and friends gathered on Saturday to remember 20-year-old Sara Mutschlechner who was killed in a road rage incident, according to ABC News.

Mutschlechner was a junior at the University of North Texas and was killed Friday night while driving home from a New Year’s Eve party. Police are still searching for the gunman.

“There are so many people that knew her, that she touched their lives,” said her father, Clay Mutschlechner. “She never met a stranger.”

“She was just one of those people that always had a smile on her face, never said no to an adventure,” said Chris Challiot, a friend.

She majored in radio, television and film with a minor concentration in theater. She was also a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.

Police say an SUV pulled up next to her car and a few words were exchanged with people in the SUV. Officials say two or three rounds were shot into her car, she then lost control and crashed into a telephone pole.

She was taken to a local hospital, where she died. Her friends told police that she had been their designated driver for the night.

Witnesses told police the suspect’s car was a black Lexus SUV with 5-6 men inside.

“We’ve got a lot of people that we’re wanting to talk with at this time,” said Denton police officer Shane Kizer.
