Euclid Avenue and Biedler Road intersection in Willoughby closed after crew hits gas line

WILLOUGHBY – The intersection and Euclid Avenue and Biedler Road in Willoughby is closed after a construction crew hit a high pressure gas line in the road.

It is unknown when the road will reopen.

Traffic heading to Lake West Medical Center at 36000 Euclid Avenue must use SR 91 to Euclid Avenue (US 20.) All other routes to the hospital are closed.

Traffic heading westbound on Euclid Avenue will be rerouted southbound on Robinhood Drive to SR 84.

Police and fire are at the scene and are asking anyone who doesn’t need to travel in the area to take alternate routes.
