It’s the interview a lot of people are talking about on the Monday after the Seattle Seahawks beat the San Francisco 49ers to go to the Super Bowl.
Erin Andrews interviewed Seahawks’ cornerback Richard Sherman after the big win and he used the opportunity to go on a rant. He said, “I’m the best corner in the game! When you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that’s the result you gonna get.”
Sherman was reportedly talking about 49ers’ receiver Michael Crabtree.
The Seattle Times reports that Sherman has been upset with Crabtree ever since Crabtree reportedly tried to start a fight with him at a charity event.
Sherman told the MMQB, “I ran over to Crabtree to shake his hand but he ignored me. I patted him, stuck out my hand and said, ‘Good game, good game.’ That’s when he shoved my face, and that’s when I went off.”
Sherman says the yelling in the interview with Andrews is, “Just a small part of the person I am.”
