Teen scores role of a lifetime as the voice of Disney’s new princess, ‘Moana’

It’s a dream for a lot of little girls: to be a Disney princess! One girl now gets to live out her dream.

According to PEOPLE, 14-year-old Auli’i Cravalho of Oahu was selected out of hundreds of other girls to be the voice of Disney’s new princess in the animated movie, ‘Moana.’ “From baby time to now, I wanted to be a Disney princess and then I wanted to be a singer or an actress,” she told PEOPLE. Now, she gets to do all of those things!

Auli’i was discovered by an agent during a charity competition and auditioned in Los Angeles. She will star with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the film which is set to be released in November 2016.
