NEW YORK – Camille Cosby, the wife of embattled comedian Bill Cosby, knows that her husband cheated on her, but believes that the dozens of women who are accusing him of rape and sexual assault consented to his alleged crimes.

According to a report in The New York Post, “Camille still doesn’t believe that Bill provided drugs and had sex with women without their consent,” said a source employed by the Cosby family. “She’s well aware of his cheating, but she doesn’t believe that her husband is a rapist.”

Camille Cosby, 71, is also her husband’s business manager. She has reportedly demanded that his public relations and attorneys “get back out in front” of the story, and is taking the accusations against him personally. She credits herself with his rise to fame and insists that the Cosby team can still “fix this.”

But last week, as prosecutors in Los Angeles and Las Vegas reportedly took a closer look at the accusations of nearly 50 alleged sexual assaults on women dating back five decades, advisers told him that he should break off contact with virtually everyone and permanently stop any comeback attempts.
