CLEVELAND– A movie produced by Cleveland Indians great Kenny Lofton will screen in Northeast Ohio next week.

“My First Miracle” stars Valerie Cruz and Sean Patrick Flannery, and tells the story of a 17-year-old girl battling a rare form of cancer.

The screening is Thursday at 7 p.m. at Atlas Cinemas on Lakeshore Boulevard in Euclid. You can reserve your seat by making a $15 donation and registering here. Part of the proceeds benefit MetroHealth Medical Center’s Cancer Care Family Community Room.

The event is presented by the Greater Cleveland Film Commission.

Lofton, who played center field for the Tribe from 1992 to 1996, is one of the owners of FilmPool Inc., a production company based in Burbank, California.
