CLEVELAND, Ohio — The basketball season may be over, but fans aren’t finished talking about LeBron James.
He appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Tuesday night, ahead of the debut of the comedy, “Trainwreck.” He stars in the movie along with Bill Hader and Amy Schumer.
LeBron talked to Fallon about the movie, but also about coming back home to Cleveland.
“It was everything I dreamed of,” he said. “To be back with my family and friends and in that state, it was just very soothing.”
He also added that his kids have helped get him out of a funk after losing the playoffs, but that they are also his biggest critics.
“If you go out and you don’t perform well, ‘daddy, why did you lose. You didn’t play well tonight, it is all your fault’,” he joked.
Fallon also showed him a Banana Boat photo that went viral this week. It shows Gabrielle Union, Dwayne Wade and Chris Paul in the water on a giant banana. At the rear is LeBron — or so it appears. He says he was Photoshopped onto the banana.
"But that's not me," said LeBron."I was back home in Akron, Ohio, when this happened. We don't have water like that back home."
They also played a little game of 'Faceketball'.
