Audiences criticizing accuracy of two Oscar-nominated films

This year’s Oscar nominations were announced just a few days ago, and two on this year’s list are being criticized for their accuracy; they’re both based on real people.

Audiences are particularly fired up about the portrayal of Chris Kyle, the sharpshooter in “American Sniper” and former President Lyndon Johnson in “Selma.”

“American Sniper” is being criticized for being far too lenient on Kyle, a U.S. Navy Seal. Critics of “Selma” say the film should give more credit to Johnson for the 1965 March on Selma.
