‘Endangered missing adult alert’ issued for Lorain man

LORAIN, Ohio — An endangered missing adult alert has been issued for a Lorain man.

According to Lorain Police Department, Aaron Zimmerman, 25, was last seen at about 8 a.m. Nov. 14, when he left his residence on Camden Avenue.

Police say Zimmerman suffers from a mental illness and will run from anyone who approaches him. Police say it’s out of character for him to leave his residence without informing family.

He is believed to be on foot.

Zimmerman was last seen wearing an orange and gray jacket and tennis shoes. He is 5’8″ tall, weighs about 215 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Zimmerman is asked to call the Ohio Attorney General Missing Persons Unit at 1-866-693-9171 or Lorain Police Department at 440-204-2103.
