ELYRIA, Ohio-- Elyria police are searching for a man who was seen looking into a bedroom window on N. West River Road at around 1 a.m. Sunday.

Officers talked to a woman who said she was across the street from her home, when she saw a man looking into her daughter's bedroom window.

She said it looked like the man was trying to open the window.

The woman screamed and ran towards the man. He took off and got into a blue or green four-door vehicle, possibly a Chevy.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 20s to early 30s; approximately 5'7"-6'; 220 lbs.; light brown hair cut into a flat top; wearing a blue t-shirt, dark jeans, and dark shoes.

Elyria police added that there is nothing to link this case to the attempted abduction of a little girl in February. They are not discounting the possibility either.

In that case, a man tried to pull the 10-year-old from her bedroom on Furnace Street. The victim was able to get away and woke up her father, who called police.

If you have any information, you're asked to call Elyria police at 440-323-3302.
