ELYRIA, Ohio — Police cancelled an Endangered Missing Adult Alert Wednesday.
The Elyria Police Department issued an alert on Tuesday for 61-year-old Peter Mathis after he left his home around 9 a.m. to head to an appointment. He had reportedly never made it to the appointment.
Police said he suffers from early onset dementia, high blood pressure and has a heart condition.
According to a post on the police department’s Facebook page, Mathis has since been found safe.
