EASTLAKE – Eastlake police are currently searching for an armed bank robber.
Witnesses told police the man entered the Fifth Third Bank branch on Vine Street just after noon Saturday.

A witness told police he got into a 1997 to 1999 champagne Ford Taurus station wagon and went east on Vine Street. The photo of the car police shared is not the suspect’s actual vehicle, just a similar one.
The suspect is described to be in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches and wore a grey hoodie and khaki pants. His face was partially covered by a white hat and black ski mask.
