Early morning fire injures 3 people

BROOK PARK- Three people have been taken to a local hospital for smoke injuries after an early morning fire.

The blaze broke out in the 6000 block of Engle Road in Brook Park shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Fire departments from Brook Park, Middleburg Heights and Strongsville responded to the fire.

Officials say it started in the basement of the home.

The severity of the injuries are not known at this time.
