MANCHESTER, United Kingdom– Sophia loves snow, and her owner wanted to make sure she was able to enjoy it one more time before she was put to sleep.

The St. Bernard was diagnosed with cancer a short time ago.

“We found out two months ago that Sophia’s got bone cancer,” owner Alyson Page told Mashable. “She absolutely loves the snow… I’ve been searching for ideas, just something to make the last time that we’ve got with her really special, because she’s been such a special dog.”

Page reached out to Chill Factore in Manchester, United Kingdom. It’s an indoor ski slope with artificial, and she was hoping she could take Sophia there.

The business responded shortly after she sent her request.

According to Mashable, Page said Sophia hasn’t shown interest in anything recently, so it was nice to see her so happy.

“It’s her last day, so it’s just been a wonderful end for her,” said Page. “I can’t even begin to say how much we’re going to miss her, but it’s made me happy knowing that she’s had such a wonderful day today.”
