Drone dropped items into Euclid annex of Cuyahoga County Jail

EUCLID, Ohio– The Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a drone was spotted dropping items into the county’s Euclid Jail Annex, police said.

Police said they became aware of the incident last month, but said sheriff investigators are handling the investigation.

Sheriff Clifford Pinkney confirmed his detectives are investigating. He declined to say what was dropped into the jail.

Sources told the I-Team some of the items dropped were marijuana.
