CLEVELAND -- ODOT's alternate routes could get pretty jammed as commuters try to get across the Cuyahoga River during the Innerbelt Bridge transfer.

“Beginning Thursday morning during morning rush hour, we will be closing I-90 eastbound. This will impact motorists coming into downtown from the westside and south communities,” said Jocelynn Clemings, ODOT spokesperson.

The closure starts Thursday at 9 a.m. I-90 will close until Monday morning at 6 a.m.

As the closure approaches, drivers are thinking of other ways to get downtown, especially from I-71 and I-90.
