Police use radar guns to tell if you’re speeding, and before long they may be able to use similar technology to tell if you’re texting.

A company is developing a device that can detect radio frequencies given off by the phone when a text is sent, PilotOnline.com reported.

It still needs to get legislative approval and law enforcement would have to want to use it.

There could also be privacy concerns.
