Police believe Patrona sent Facebook messages to friends saying she had been abducted.

She was reported missing on Monday after she walked away from her North Tuscarawas Avenue home.

Dover police, the FBI and the Ohio BCI, were all searching for Patrona and said cell phone evidence showed the woman was traveling south.

Patrona’s boyfriend said he received an unusual text message after she disappeared. Police said the context of that message was not exactly clear.
