Double Homicide Under Investigation

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating the shooting deaths of two males Thursday evening.

Authorities say they received a 911 at approximately 10:37 p.m. stating a male was down on a dirt bike on the 17500 block of Throckley Avenue. After arriving on scene, police found one male with a gunshot wound to the head and another victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.

The male with gunshot wounds to the torso was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center where he later died from his injuries. The male shot in the head was pronounced dead on the scene.

The victims’ have been identified as Cortez Rucker, 26, of Garfield Heights and
DeAngelo Callahan, 24, of Shaker Heights.

Police say a second dirt bike was found on scene.

So far, no suspects have been found in this case.
