BEREA -- Fox 8’s legendary Dick Goddard got the party started at Oktoberfest on Friday by tapping a keg!
Beer and German food are just a few of the attractions at the event, which also includes musical performances, art, wiener dog races, corn hole and the Frisch Marionette Show.
According to Candyce Traci with Oktoberfest, one of the most popular parts of the festival is a live, two-story cuckoo clock.
Every hour the “Glockenspiel” comes to life with costumed German dancers.
After they perform, souvenirs are tossed into the crowd.
The Cleveland Labor Day Oktoberfest takes place at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea and runs through Monday.
Parking is free and children 12 and under receive free admission. The cost is $10 for adults.
