DELAWARE – Delaware has become America’s first no-kill state for shelter animals.

That’s according to the Today Show.

The nonprofit Best Friends Animal Society made the announcement at its annual conference in Dallas, Texas.

The group hopes to make America a no-kill country by 2025.
