Cuyahoga Falls Police Search For Alleged Armed Robber

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — Authorities in Cuyahoga Falls are searching for a man that held up the Sheetz Gas Station on Main Street claiming to have a gun.

Cuyahoga Falls Police posted a surveillance camera image on their Facebook page showing the man in question.

Police say that on Wednesday night at 11:15 p.m., the suspect entered the gas station and went to the beer cooler. He selected a can of beer and then walked to the front cash register.

According to authorities, once at the register the suspect placed his hand inside his hooded sweatshirt pocket and pointed something at the clerk.

The suspect told the clerk that he had a gun and demanded money. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect ran from the gas station. He left the scene in what the clerk described as a black colored four-door car.

Cuyahoga Falls Police are asking that anyone who can identify the suspect contact detectives at 330-971-8334.
