DOVER TOWNSHIP, Ohio- Two people were injured during a complicated crash in Dover Township Tuesday morning.

A dump truck driver was going west on state Route 39 when a Pontiac Solstice pulled in front of him from Saltwell Road, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said. The truck driver couldn’t stop and hit the car.

The dump truck then hit a house, going into the living room and garage. A man was at home at the time, but was in the kitchen and was not injured.

The other car also went off the roadway and struck a tree.

Both drivers were taken to Akron City Hospital. The highway patrol said their injuries do no appear to be life threatening.
