CLEVELAND (WJW)– With the increase in COVID-19 cases and health officials recommending the return of masking indoors, some local spots are updating their policies.

Cleveland Museum of Art

Effective Tuesday, August 10, the CMA is requiring everyone––all visitors, staff, and volunteers––to wear a face-covering inside the building.

Cleveland Orchestra

The group that performs at Severance Hall is requiring that all audience members not only wear masks but also be vaccinated against COVID-19 or show proof of a negative test. The policy goes into effect Sept. 15.

Playhouse Square

Masks are required for entry into all areas of Playhouse Square, regardless of vaccination status. And starting Sept. 30 all audience members are required to either be vaccinated against COVID-19 or show proof of a negative test.

Progressive Field

As an outdoor venue, masks remain optional for all fans at the home of the Cleveland Indians.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

All staff are required to wear masks onsite regardless of vaccination status. Guests are strongly encouraged to wear a mask, but it is not currently mandatory.

Stan Hywet Hall

Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is now requiring guests to wear masks inside all indoor spaces on the estate. Wearing a mask outside on the grounds is optional.
