VALLEY VIEW, Ohio — For the next three weeks, Boyas Excavating in Valley View will accept your tree debris for no extra fee.

Stumps, logs and tree branches will be accepted.

They normally charge up to $27 per yard for certain disposal materials, but considering what Sandy left behind, they feel like now is the time to help.

“Right now, we’ve got people flooded all along Canal Road in Valley View, and there are a lot of folks out there who can’t afford the disposal fee of that big tree in their front yard,” said Derek McNamara of Boyas Excavating. “Anything we can do to help them, that’s our goal.”

Fees for illegal dumping can run up to $500, and you can even be jailed for it.
