CLEVELAND, Ohio– The Democratic Party’s presidential ticket was in Cleveland on this Labor Day 2016.

Hillary Clinton and running mate Tim Kaine spoke at the 11th Congressional District’s Community Caucus Labor Day Festival, Monday afternoon.

As Clinton took the stage, she struggled to speak after a coughing fit. She joked, “Every time I think about Trump, I get allergic.”

Clinton and Kaine landed at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport at around noon.

They were greeted at the airport by local college students who are “Hillary for Ohio Campus Leaders.” The students are: Nathan Cole, Baldwin Wallace University; Rachel Finn-Lohmann, Oberlin College; Dylan Joshua Poe, Bowling Green State University; and Alexa Lago, University of Akron.

A parade preceded the festival, which is a long-time tradition here in Cleveland.

Donald Trump also visited Northeast Ohio today. He was in Brook Park for a round-table discussion, then talked to customers at a restaurant.
