CLEVELAND, Ohio– The Cleveland Teachers Union thanked the community after Issue 108 passed, Tuesday night.
In a statement, the teachers union said:
“We look forward to building on the successes of the last four years and ensuring that the money is spent where it is most needed – in schools and in classrooms. The passage of the levy allows Cleveland to keep kids going forward by continuing to expand quality preschool for residents of Cleveland, increase the growing graduation rate, and increase enrollment rates within CMSD. The resources that Issue 108 supplies will allow Cleveland to build upon the successes of the last four years for CMSD’s students.”
Cleveland Teachers Union President David Quolke applauded the residents of Cleveland.
