CLEVELAND– A Cleveland police supervisor is facing charges accused of driving drunk.
Sgt. Jeri Smith was arrested Sunday on the city’s east side.
A court record shows she has been charged with DUI and Failure to Control. A ticket lists her blood alcohol level as .15.
According to the court clerk’s office, Smith has a court date later this week.
We were unable to reach Smith at a number written on the ticket.
A supervisor’s union leader says Smith will likely be placed on restricted duty as the case plays out in court.
