CLEVELAND - It's not your typical smash-and-grab.

Instead of smashing a window, thieves crashed a stolen car into Chillie's Deli and Beverage store on Superior and stole an ATM early Monday morning.

This is the second time an ATM was taken this way in the past month.

Owners of the store say the thieves removed the bolts from the ATM before taking it. A stolen vehicle they used to smash into the store was left at the scene along with a cell phone.

Store owners say besides taking the ATM, the suspects stole some cigarettes and left the store in shambles.

Mousa Abukhalil, whose family owns the store, says this has caused thousands of dollars of business.

"This has really messed us up," Mousa told Fox 8.

Police are hoping fingerprints left on the phone and inside the van may help them find the suspects.
