CLEVELAND — A Cleveland police officer has been arrested for felony stalking and domestic violence.

The Cleveland Division of Police announced Tuesday that Internal Affairs Unit investigators have arrested Cleveland Police Officer David Anderson, 51.

He was arrested for one count of felony stalking and three counts of misdemeanor domestic violence.

Police say Anderson turned himself in and was arrested without incident. He has been suspended without pay.

Anderson was hired in October of 2007.

According to Fox 8 I-Team reporter Peggy Gallek, the officer has several domestic violence charges stemming back to 2005.
