CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating a case of a missing head.

The bronze bust of Nikola Tesla used to be on display in the Serbian Cultural Garden in Rockefeller Park on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Police said it disappeared sometime between Aug. 20 and Aug. 23.

Tesla was a Serbian American inventor and engineer.

The statue is about two feet high by two feet wide and was once perched on a granite pedestal in the garden.

Nothing else seemed to have been stolen or disrupted.

The bust is not solid bronze.  It has a hollow interior.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fifth District detectives at 216-623-5518.
